The residence was designed to accommodate a six-member family, spanning across generations from grandparents to children, aiming for a simple yet welcoming atmosphere that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding nature. Located in the outskirts of Ahmedabad, the house is enveloped by lush greenery, inviting the outdoors in. Its design emphasizes connectivity with the natural environment, featuring a spacious verandah that overlooks open spaces on both sides, fostering a harmonious link between the northern and southern directions. With a focus on openness, each member enjoys their own cozy retreat within the larger communal space. The central area hosts shared vertical circulation and a Pooja space, illuminated by the warm glow of Jaisalmer stone flooring, while offering views of the nearby trees and water body.
